THE NEW BEGINNING; part 2- Steps to new beginning

We have discussed what we meant by "The new beginning" from our last post which is the part 1 of this inspiring topic. Please refer back to the post as it will give you a better understanding and follow up for this one.
This is the part 2 of "The New Beginning" and we will be looking at the THREE major STEPS that you need to take in order to move to a new beginning.
By step we mean lifting your leg to another ground. So this article is based on those three ways you can use to lift your leg to another ground of a new promise.

STEP 1, Arise and Shine: It is a pity that some people have not got the feel of a new beginning because they are still hiding under a dust. The first step you need to achieve new things this year is to get up, dust yourself and begin to shine. Hei! am i speaking in riddles? Let me break it down. You have to know that you are someone special and that the Almighty has created you with a unique potential. Discover who you are and your potentials. Begin to think positive of yourself. This is the time for you to come out of from your shell and position yourself, mix up with the right people and don't let inferiority complex push you down. Refer to our post on the "TIPS TO BUILD YOUR SELF ESTEEM" as this will surely help out.

From the book of Isiah 52 : 2, it says, "Rise up from the dirt, free yourself from the rope around your neck". Whatever tying down your vision, check it off, free yourself and focus your eyes on your vision.


STEP 2, Beware of Darkness. The word "darkness" can be used to refer to those obstacles that want to discourage you. You should be aware of them coming because, they will definitely come but can not bring you down if you look beyond them. Believe you can conquer any darkness meddling on your way to the new achievements because you definitely can.
Remember the Lord's assurance in Isaiah 60 : 2 which says, "The earth is covered with darkness but the glory of the Lord shines brightly upon you".


STEP 3, Be Ready with your Vessel. One of my favorite quotes said by Oprah Winfrey is, "Luck is when preparation meets opportunity". That goal you have been pursuing for a long time now, how prepared are you to grab it when it comes your way. Yes, i am saying this because it will definitely come but you need to be ready with your vessel. According o Andrew Carnegie, " The power that removes all limitations from the mind is faith". You need to prepare your mind to accept this greater level of new achievement by getting rid of all negative thoughts. Your mind is a great asset and you need to equip it.

5 STEPS TO DISCOVERING YOUR DESTINY

1. What is the real desire of your hearth? This is what your heart sincerely yearns for and not what somebody somewhere wants you to do neither is it the fleeting fantasies occupying your mind.

2. What do you think that really moves you passionately; something you enjoy doing and do with so much zeal? When you are into something that you enjoy doing, you feel energized and that shows you are on the right track. In my famous e-book, “profit boosting guide on stocks, I told a true life story about a man who lost his job but later built found success as a laundry man. This is because e enjoys washing and ironing clothes. Your heart feels at peace when you are on the right path of your destiny.


3. What are your gifts and talents? This is why it is encouraged for schools to include curriculum activities in their school programme as this helps in identification of varying talents possessed by their students. You will never know that you are creative until you engage yourself in creative activities. Same goes to a talented novelist, you can never know till the day you start writing. Allowing yourself to test different activities and programme that catches your interest helps to identify the special talents God has deposited in you.

4. Seek counsel from the right people. That road you want to follow, there are people who have been there before you. If you aspire to be a medical doctor, there are many medical doctors in the society who you can reach out to. You don’t know it all so you’ve got to seek wisdom as book of wisdom commands us in Proverb 2:4. Remember I said from the “right” people. You need somebody with a sound mind, a positive mentality and experience to get counsel from. No matter what anyone says to you the final decision is your in the making; is your life to live and you should live it well.


5. Understand the principle of give and take. One day I was reading the scripture and came across the word of God in Mathew 5:13 which say, “You are the salt of the earth. Salt does not exist for its own pleasure, it must be poured into something bigger than itself; only then does it fulfill its purpose”. The principle off give and take commands that you give out in other to receive. You need to understand that you must offer something to people in other to receive back from the people. A musician blessed with a melodious voice have to give it out to people may be in the form of a stage performance for the people who in turn pays him his renders service. Understand that this principle is telling you giving out from your pool is a way to receive back.
